Frequently Asked Questions
Rental Policies:
- When should I reserve my Party Rentals?To avoid disappointment, book your rentals as soon as you are sure. You may book your order either in store, by phone or by email.
A rental agreement must be signed. This can be accomplished via fax or email, if you are unable to come into the store. A deposit is required in order to complete your reservation. We take Cash, E-transfer, Visa and Mastercard. There is also a refundable security deposit required for all rentals. - Can I get a quote for our event?We will be happy to provide a quotation upon request. We prefer emailing your quote to you. In some cases, we may need to view the event space before giving you a quote. ln that case, we will meet you at the venue to discuss your event.
- Can I adjust the quantity I ordered?We do allow you to adjust your counts without penalty. Please make your final quantity changes 2 weeks before your event.
- What is your cancellation policy?A percentage of the deposit for your rentals is non-refundable. The amount depends on how close to the date your order is cancelled. Cancellations the week of your event are subject to full loss of your deposit. Tents are non-refundable.
- How many days does the rental cover?Rentals are for one day. Parties on Saturday are not normally picked up or returned until Monday, which we regard as one day. Furthermore, tents are often set up 1-3 days before your event. This is considered a one day rental.
- Can I book rentals for longer periods of time?We have weekly and monthly rentals. Please inquire.
- Do you deliver and what are the delivery fees?Yes we do offer delivery. The rate depends on where within the Niagara Region the delivery is made. Please inquire for your area. Please book your delivery early to reserve a spot in our delivery schedule.
- What if I need a special delivery or pickup time (i.e. midnight pickup)?Most often, special delivery times are accommodated. There will be an additional delivery fee outside of regular delivery hours.
- When is the final payment required?We require the final payment 2 week before your party or event.
- What is your policy regarding lost or damaged rentals?The customer is responsible for all rentals until they are returned to Party Connection. The customer will be charged the repair or replacement cost. Rental fees cannot be applied toward repair or replacement costs.
- Do you set up tents on asphalt or cement?Yes we do. lf we cannot stake into the ground, we will use water barrels to anchor our smaller tents. We use concrete ballasts to anchor our larger tents. Please inquire for pricing.
- Can the tent be installed over a raised patio?Some of our tents can be raised allowing a tent to be installed over a raised patio, low stage, or where the ground is uneven.
- l'm not sure if the tent will fit. Can you come out and advise us?We offer free site inspections. Please call our store and arrange a site inspection with one of our sales associates.
- Do you supply walls for your tents?We offer solid walls or walls with windows. Walls are included in the price for tents up to a 20 x 20 size. There is an additional charge for setting up walls for larger tents. Please inquire for the rate. All walls are installed by our setup personnel.
- Do you provide tent lighting?We offer a variety of lighting options. These include globe lights (8 per set), spot lights, crystal Chandeliers, Bistro lights, cafe Lights (edison bulbs) and High Bay Lighting. Please inquire as to which lighting option is best for the tent you are renting.
- Do you set up tables and chairs?We normally do not set up your tables and chairs. Rental and delivery fees only include leaving the rentals stacked. lf you have a tent, we will stack them beneath the tent.
All rentals must be restacked for pickup, the way they were delivered. lf you require the chairs and/or tables to be set up, please ask us for the charge. The price will vary depending on the quantity. - Do you provide the supplies for the food machines (i.e. popcorn machine)?Yes we do. Please call us for the pricing. Unopened packages can be returned for a full refund, so make sure you have enough for your event.
- Do we have to clean the rentals?No you do not, but dirty tableware must be scraped and rinsed before returning them to the delivery container. There may be a cleaning charge if the tableware has not been scraped of food.
- Are you insured?Yes we have insurance for liability as well as commercial auto. We are also fully insured with Workers' Compensation.
